Its a real murderers row of new TV this week. I know I say this a lot of weeks (Im in charge of TV coverage; what can I say, I love it!), but this week really doesnt have any misses. Whether youre interested in sports documentaries, superheroes, sci-fi drama, religious comedy, or murder mysteries, there is a show to watch. (Plus ongoing Severance thats meting out little lore details within really steady episodes).
Usually here I would recommend a particular highlight, but given that Ill be watching all of these, Ill just highlight my favorite unsung one: School Spirits on Paramount Plus, which perfectly marries a murder mystery with supernatural hijinks, all rolled up into a teen drama.
Beyond that, here are the best new TV premieres and finales this week.
New shows on Netflix Formula 1: Drive to Survive season 7 Image: NetflixGenre: F1 docuseriesRelease date: March 7
With a new F1 season just ahead, its time to look back at the last one. Drive to Survive, the docuseries produced in partnership with Formula 1, will be tracking a big year in the racing community. While the fallout from all of last years movement might mean next years TV season is when well finally get the real hot goss, season 7 — with all its headline news — shouldnt be missed either.
New shows on Disney Plus Daredevil: Born AgainGenre: Marvel rebootRelease date: March 4Showrunner/creator: Dario ScardapaneCast: Charlie Cox, Vincent DOnofrio, Margarita Levieva, and more
Daredevil is back. Born Again is harkening back to the Netflix Marvel days and bringing back Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent DOnofrio as Kingpin (again), now mayor of New York. Will it be the same continuity as the Netflix show, or one of the many alternate universe branches of the MCU? Not clear, yet. But with so many characters coming back and a promise of more ruthless Daredevil violence, its worth the trip back to Hells Kitchen.
New shows on Hulu Paradise season 1 finale Image: HuluGenre: Sci-fi Release date: March 4Showrunner/creator: Dan FogelmanCast: Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, and more
Well, folks, we made it, and all it took was the end of the world. After last weeks big flashback to the end of the topside world, were back in the pulpy murder mystery of the underground bunker that Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) lives in, trying to track down who murdered the president. All the answers will be coming by the end of the season — are you ready for them? (Especially with season 2 already on the way?)
New shows on Max The Righteous Gemstones season 4Genre: Grown-up children religious comedyRelease date: March 9 at 10 p.m. ESTShowrunner/creator: Danny McBrideCast: Danny McBride, Edi Patterson, Adam DeVine, and more
The kids are all grown up. Well, probably not. But they are more powerful in their church community than ever. And the Gemstones are riding high — straight into their final season, sadly.

All season, Maddie (Peyton List) has been trying to get her body back.
