Mario Kart World, the first new entry in the franchise in over a decade, arrives as the flagship launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5. You can pre-order the game for $79.99 from Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, and Target.

Nintendo is also offering Mario Kart World as part of a $499.99 bundle that includes the new console and would save you $30 compared to buying the two products separately. However, after Switch 2 pre-orders opened on April 24, the console and bundles quickly sold out. Were unsure what stock availability for the console will look like between now and the June 5 release, but you can check for restocks of the Mario Kart World bundle at Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Nintendo.

This latest Mario Kart entry still features all of the ridiculously fast-paced, shell-chucking racing weve come to expect, but Mario Kart World also introduces an open world for you to explore with different regions that feature dynamic weather conditions and a day-night cycle. In addition to exploring in a free-roam mode, you can compete in a classic Grand Prix race, or in a Knockout Tour, a new battle royale mode that strings a series of courses together with players being eliminated at a series of checkpoints.

Mario Kart World and many other games will be hitting shelves June 5 — the same day as the Switch 2 console itself. You can currently pre-order plenty of other Switch 2 games, Switch 2 accessories, and new Zelda amiibo.
